While convenient, this delegation could erode critical thinking skills and lead to overreliance on automated systems.
To counterbalance these risks, experts advocate for algorithmic transparency, digital literacy education, and stronger regulatory frameworks. The European Union’s AI Act is a step in this direction, aiming to classify and control high-risk AI systems, including those used in law enforcement, recruitment, and education.
